Car of Missing Baldwin Borough Woman Found in Cecil

Karissa Kunco has been missing since Wednesday afternoon.

confirmed to reporters that a car that crashed on Gladden Road in belongs to missing  woman Karissa Kunco.

Police said that nobody was in the vehicle when it was found crashed on Thursday morning and declined to give a further description of the contents of the vehicle.

Gladden was partitioned off near its intersection with state Route 980, and officers from multiple police departments responded. A police spokesperson told reporters that state police and forensic specialists were called to the scene.

Police are still looking for Kunco, 21, who has been missing as of 5:30 on Wednesday afternoon.

Police believe that Kunco—a 5-foot-2, 160-pound white woman with brown hair and green eyes—may be in the area of Washington County, PA, and that she may be with Jordan Alexander Clemons—a 5-foot-10, 165-pound black man with light skin and freckles.

Kunco has a tattoo near her collarbone of some sort of writing, according to a friend. Kunco grew up in Pittsburgh's Brookline neighborhood.

Police report that Clemons, 22, frequents the , area. He lists his hometown as Mt. Washington, PA, on his Facebook page. He has not been charged with abducting Kunco, but he was charged with simple assault against her on Dec. 18.

Police had said earlier that Kunco and Clemons may be in a black 2004 Toyota Solara with a Pennsylvania license plate number of HVJ 8515. That car was the one found in Cecil.

In addition, Canonsburg police on Thursday issued a warrant for Clemons' arrest on a felony count each of burglary and robbery, as well as simple assault and theft charges, according to online court records.

The Observer-Reporter in Washington reports that the charges stem from an alleged break-in on Tannehill Street in Canonsburg.

A spokesperson at the speaking on behalf of Chief Michael Scott said that state police have taken over the investigation and are looking for Kunco and Clemons.

Kunco was last seen heading to her car in Baldwin late on Wednesday afternoon. It is not known exactly where she was headed or with whom she was meeting.
