A big announcement for Big Ben.

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback wrote online that his wife, Ashley, is pregnant.

"Ashley and I are proud to let you all know that we are expecting a baby boy later this year! It is truly a blessing and we are so excited!" Ben Roethlisberger posted Saturday on his official website.

The Roethlisbergers received more than 2,000 messages from fans on his website since posting the announcement.

The couple married in July 2011.

Ben finished his degree and graduated from Miami University (OH) in May—nine years after leaving for the NFL.
