Family, individual and senior pool passes for the 2011 season will be available for purchase at the Boyce Park administrative offices in Plum, as well as the Boyce Park Wave pool, both along Old Frankstown Road, beginning May 23.
The fees for county pool passes are as follows: $110 for a family of four (two parents and two children or one parent and three children) and $15 for each additional family member; $60 for an individual; $30 for seniors 60 years of age and older; and $20 to replace a lost or stolen pass.
Each family member must be present at the time of application in order to receive their individual photo identification passes. Proper proof of identification (Pennsylvania photo driver’s license or state identification card) and proof of Allegheny County residency must be provided at time of application. Full payment must also be made by cash or check only at the time of application.
Photo identification passes provide free access to all county swimming facilities Monday through Friday except Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. County pools will be open from June 4 through September 5, weather and conditions permitting. Hours of operation are 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily. If a pool does not open by 2:00 p.m. due to inclement weather, it will remain closed for the rest of the day.

Volunteer firefighters and active, volunteer emergency medical technicians are entitled to free season passes to county pools through the 2011 Volunteer Firefighter & EMT Park Pass Program. To benefit from the Park Pass Program, active, volunteer firefighters and active, volunteer emergency medical technicians must submit an application to the parks department.
