Bullet Strikes House on Dennis Drive in Plum

Here are the Plum police reports for Dec. 4 to 10.

 

A bullet struck a Plum Borough home last week.

According to police, a Dennis Drive resident reported on Dec. 1 that a bullet hit the front window of the home and stopped between the window trim/wall of the house. The bullet is believed to have come from the direction of a wooded area along Renton Road.

Police said they'd forward the report to the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

The following incidents also were reported to Plum police. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

DUI

Adam Tyler Catello, 27, of Oakmont was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, general lighting requirements and operating a vehicle without official inspection after a Dec. 2 incident on Unity Center Road.

John Thomas Bremmer Jr., 24, of Plum was charged with careless driving, turning movements and required signals, and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a Nov. 16 incident.

Theft

A cell technician with Verizon reported to police that $6,600 worth of copper piping had been stolen from cell towers throughout the borough—Old Leechburg Road, behind the Unity Volunteer Fire Department and Repp Road—between Dec. 2 and 4.

A Shasta Drive resident reported $4,367 worth of jewelry was stolen from dresser drawers on Nov. 24.
