District Court: Zucco Hears Drug, DUI Cases

Here are the district court cases for Jan. 16.

 

Plum District Justice Linda Zucco heard the following cases on Jan. 16:

  • Patrick J. Hirst, 26, of East Liberty waived a preliminary hearing on charges of duties at a stop sign and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. A charge of duties at a stop sign were withdrawn. Oakmont police filed the charges after an Aug. 27 incident on Allegheny Avenue and Washington Avenue.
  • William Anthony Bertosh, 38, of Penn Hills waived a preliminary hearing on charges of disregarding a traffic lane, speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Sept. 9 incident on Universal Road.
  • Michael J. Nase, 24, of Plum waived a preliminary hearing on charges of speeding, careless driving, registration and certificate of title required, and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after an Oct. 31 incident on Chapparal Drive.
  • Julian Robert Garner, 22, of Oakmont waived a preliminary hearing on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn. Oakmont police filed the charges after a Nov. 15 incident on Hulton Road.
