District Court: Zucco Hears DUI & Drug Cases

Here are the Jan. 30 district court cases.

 

Plum District Justice Linda Zucco heard following court cases on Jan. 30:

  • Daniel E. Boring Jr.,34, of Herman, Pa., waived a preliminary hearing on charges of intent to possess a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Oakmont police filed the charges after an April 28, 2012, incident on Allegheny Avenue.
  • Daniel Kay Boney, 25, of Penn Hills waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of failing to stop at a stop sign and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges afte a Nov. 3, 2012, incident on Unity Center Road.
  • Corrine Eleanor Wuerger, 50, of Arnold waived a preliminary hearing on charges of driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.02 percent or higher with a suspended license, failure to stay on the right side of the road, careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a July 6, 2012, incident on Coxcomb Hill Road.
