Forbes Regional Hospital Opens Advanced Wound Healing Center

The center is now open at the Monroeville hospital.

Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville is now seeing patients in its new Advanced Wound Healing Center. The center offers services for the evaluation and management of non-healing wounds.

In addition to being painful and embarrassing, a non-healing wound can limit a person’s ability to function to his or her full potential. Wound healing also is often impacted by other health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, immune disorders and breathing difficulties.

The main goal for treatment at the Advanced Wound Healing Center is to create an individual holistic plan of care in partnership with the patient to help facilitate the wound healing process.
