1. Plum Community Festival
Where?/When?: Larry Mills Park, 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Plum Rotary and the Borough of Plum will host the Plum Community Days Festival. The festival will be held July 26, 27 and 28 at Larry Mills Park. Each day there will be games, raffles, entertainment and a balloon artist, plus there will be plenty of good food from local organizations and fun for the entire family! 2. Moonlit Matinee Film Festival
Where?/When?: Oaks Theater, 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday
Why Go?: The Oaks Theater presents Pittsburgh's only summer long festival of late night cult movies! The movies will be held on Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. all summer long. Prize giveaways will be given at each show. This weekend’s show is Back to the Future Part II.
Pricing: Tickets are $8 for general admission and $6 for seniors/students with ID/children under 17
3. Coffee and Crime Author Breakfast
Where?/When?: Mystery Lovers Bookshop, 10 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Alex Kava returns to MLB with a red-hot new thriller, Fireproof, a 10th spectacular adventure for FBI agent Maggie O'Dell. In Fireproof, Maggie O'Dell is pursuing a serial arsonist that the authorities look upon as a dangerous maniac but Maggie sees a cold and calculating criminal. Worse, she senses that it is someone close to her. The Mystery Lovers Bookshop invites you to join them for a breakfast to learn more about the author and her novels. The breakfast begins at 10 a.m. and includes a continental breakfast, talk and signing. Reservations are necessary.
4. Oakmont Chamber of Commerce Annual Street Sale
Where?/When?: Allegheny River Blvd, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday

5. Verona VFD Mattress Sale
Where/When: 465 Parker St, Verona, PA, 12 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday
