Weekend Planner: Egg Hunts, Brunch & Art Reception

Here are five events to check out this Easter Weekend.

Got no idea what you'll do this weekend? Patch is coming to the rescue! We've got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

1.Anniversary Sale at La Perla
Where/When: La Perla, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday.
Why Go?: For La Perla's third anniversary, customers can get 20 percent off their purchase (except for the Brighton collection). For more information, call 412-828-5680.

2. Easter Egg Hunt
Where?/When?: Holiday Park Baptist Church, 11 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Holiday Park Baptist Church is having their annual Easter Egg Hunt once again. There will be lots of fun things to do for kids of ALL ages, games, crafts, bouncing castle, face painting, Easter Egg Hunt, free lunch, etc.
Pricing: Free

3. Verona Egg Hunt
Where/When: Verona Borough Building, 11 am. on Saturday
Why Go?: The Verona Chamber of Commerce's Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 7, at 11 a.m. There is no cost to attend, and it will be held at the park next to the Verona Borough Building on East Railroad Avenue.

4. Cafe Vita Easter Brunch
Where?/When?: Cafe Vita, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: Cafe Vita will be offering special entrees for Easter Brunch. Menu items include freshly sliced ham, omelettes, waffles, pancakes, smoked salmon platters and more. Call for a reservation. 
Pricing: Prices vary.  

5. Opening Reception at the Boulevard Gallery
Where?/When?: Boulevard Gallery, 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: This is an exhibition by featured ceramic artist Ed Zembrzuski including works by mixed media artists Janet Carlisle, Wayne Carlisle and Linda King.
