Highland Park Bridge Inspection Begins Monday

Here's a traffic update.

If you travel on the Highland Park Bridge, be aware.

Work to inspect the bridge, which spans the Allegheny River between Route 28 and Allegheny River Boulevard, will begin on Monday, Oct. 1, weather permitting.

Single lane closures and traffic shifts will occur on the bridge and connecting ramps as needed weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through late October.

Motorists are advised to use caution, be prepared for changing traffic patterns, and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
