Short-term lane closures on Hulton Road and Freeport Road in the area of the Hulton Bridge in Oakmont and Harmar will occur Tuesday through Friday, Dec. 18 to 21, weather permitting.   

Crews will be taking test borings in various locations as part of the design process for a future project to replace the Hulton Bridge. Restrictions will occur as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

PennDOT advises motorists to use caution, slow down and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area. Visit 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic on major roadways before traveling.
