These local students were named to their college's dean's lists for the fall 2011 semester.

Grove City College

The following area residents were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at Grove City College:

Kirsten French, a sophomore PreK-8 Special Education major, is a 2010 graduate of Riverview High School and is a resident of Oakmont.

Brandy Nickoloff, a freshman Business Management major, is a 2011 graduate of Saint Joseph High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Nickoloff of Plum.

Katie Risbon, a senior Elementary Education major, is a 2008 graduate of Plum Senior High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Risbon of Plum.

Bradley Pietryga, a senior History major, is a 2008 graduate of Plum Senior High School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pietryga of Plum.

Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of at least 3.4,

Saint Francis University

Hanna Lauff, a Physician Assistant Science major and resident of Oakmont was among more than 600 students from Saint Francis University who made the Fall 2011 Dean's List.

To achieve Dean's List at Saint Francis University, the requirements are that the students must have full-time status and must attain a quality point average of at least 3.5 for the given semester.

Beloit College

Mia Alcorn, of Pittsburgh, has been named to Beloit College's Dean's List for the fall semester.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.4 or higher and take a minimum of three letter-graded units for the term.
