A local nonprofit organization is hoping to win "15 minutes of fame" with your help!

Military Connections, an organization that provides care packages, equipment and various supplies to military troops, has entered the Markowitz Communications "15 Minutes of Fame" Facebook contest to win 15 hours of public relations services for free.

The organization was founded by Summer Tissue, the Oakmont Chamber of Commerce director, and it is one of the four finalists.

To vote for Military Connections, visit the Markowitz Communications Facebook page and "like" the photo of Military Connections' Yellow Support Our Troops Ribbon.
