Monroeville/Plum Victory Center Serves as Drop-Off Point for Hurricane Relief Donations

Anyone interested in making donations for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts can do so at the Monroeville Victory Center.

Due to the destruction from Hurricane Sandy to the New York City and New Jersey areas, the Monroeville/Plum Victory Center will act as a monetary drop off point for your donation to the Red Cross.

The Victory Center is located at 339 Haymaker Road, Room 1102, Monroeville, PA 15146.

Anyone interested in making a donation should make checks payable to the Red Cross. No cash will be accepted.

The center is working directly with FedEx to accept and ship canned or boxed food to New York. The victory center is accepting food that will be shipped Monday.

Donations will be accepted Friday through Sunday, Nov. 2 to 4. The checks will be sent overnight on Monday morning.

Victory Center hours for the weekend are Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. The phone number at the Victory Center is 412-349-8151.
