A traffic accident caused quite a jam at the intersection of New Texas and Renton roads Friday morning.

This photo was taken at about 6:50 a.m. Several emergency units had responded to a two-vehicle accident.

Plum police Chief Frank Monaco said vehicle attendants were taken to hospitals for treatment, but there were no fatalities.

New Texas Road was closed for about 40 minutes and delayed a few school buses. The road reopened by 8 a.m.
