The Penn Hills Volunteer Fire Department 224 on the Verona hilltop once again is hosting its annual holiday train display this season.

Go back to the good old days with this train display that features scenes of an old time ball park, amusement park, fire department and diner. There's an area for children to play, and Santa Claus will visit Saturday evenings.

The display is open from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through Jan. 5.

The $1 cost benefits the fire department, which is located at 1002 Center Ave. at the corner of Sixth Street on the Verona Hilltop. For more information, call 412-828-0860.
