Ninth-Annual Kerr Museum Antique Show Scheduled
This is the ninth year for the antique show benefiting the Oakmont museum.
Antique lovers will be in for a treat next weekend when the Kerr Memorial Museum in Oakmont will host its ninth annual Antiques Show.
The Kerr Museum is set in a Victorian, Queen Anne-style home built in 1897 by Dr. Thomas R. Kerr. It is located on Delaware Avenue.
The show will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 9 and 10, at the Oakmont Country Club. The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The cost is $10 at the door. Tickets are valid for entry on both days. Dining will be available during show hours, however, only cash will be accepted.
There also will be a preview party on Friday, March 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., for those who want to get a jump-start on the antiques shopping, or simply want to support the museum. Tickets for the preview party cost $75 each and include admission to the show on Saturday and Sunday.
If you would like to be placed on the Preview Party invitation or Antique Show postcard mailing list, email info@kerrmuseum.com with your mailing address.
The show is managed by Jack Squires and features 25 quality dealers from many states around the country.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will directly benefit the Kerr Memorial Museum’s upkeep, maintenance and educational programs for local children.
For more information about the show, call the Kerr Museum office at 412-826-9295 or see www.kerrmuseum.com. A list of all the dealers participating in the show is available on the website.
