Oakmont Police Reports: DUI, Accident & Theft

Here are the Oakmont police reports for Feb. 20 to March 4.

 

The following incidents were reported to the Oakmont Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

DUI

Maria Rose Lucjak, 22, of Oakmont was charged with prohibited acts, driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and careless driving following a Feb. 24 accident on the 700 block of Hulton Road. Lucjak is accused of crashing her car into a pole.

Accident

Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue Feb. 24. According to police reports, a 91-year-old motorist was attempting to back into the handicap parking spot in front of the Oakmont Carnegie Library when she accelerated forward and crashed into the bushes in front of the neighboring residence. All three vehicle passengers were uninjured, and Twilight Towing and the Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department assisted in removing the vehicle from the bushes.

Theft

A Turner Dairy truck driver reported a theft from his truck at the UniMart parking lot on Allegheny River Boulevard on March 1.

A West Woodland Avenue reported a theft on Feb. 26.

Theft from a vehicle was reported on College Avenue on Feb. 20.

Trespass

A Pennsylvania Avenue resident reported on Feb. 23 that someone trespassed into her home and stole items. She also reported finding condoms and underwear that didn't belong to her.
