Oakmont Police Reports: Theft & Criminal Mischief
Here are the police reports for Jan. 16 to Jan. 29.
The following incidents were reported to the Oakmont Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.
Theft
Sherman S. Jones, 35, of Brighton Heights was charged with retail theft. Police filed the charges on Jan. 16.
The theft of a semi-trailer bulkhead on Valley Street was reported on Jan. 28.
Criminal Mischief
A Penn Hills resident reported that her vehicle had been keyed and her tires were slashed in the rear parking lot of Presbyterian SeniorCare along Hulton Road on Jan. 25.
A Valley Street resident reported that occupants of a vehicle smashed glass bottles on the street on Jan. 28.

I have too admit, our Oakmont Police don't get enough credit for what they do, putting themselves in harms way to protect And serve our great community of Oakmont and also assisting the surrounding Boroughs when assistance is needed. Thanks for all that you do!
