The Riverside Park ice skating rink will be open for extended hours this weekend.

According to the Oakmont Recreation Board's Facebook page, the rink will be open during regular park hours—new park hours are from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.—as long as the "Open" sign indicating frozen ice is up. Time slots reserved for hockey still will be in effect.
