An Oakmont mission team is selling holiday greens to locals in an attempt to raise money for a trip to Peru next year.
The Oakmont Presbyterian Church youth mission team—comprised of 11 teens and four adults will be traveling to Peru in summer 2013, where they will be working in a village along the Ucayali River. Projects will include working on the village's water purification system, children's activities and home repairs. The group will be staying in a house boat on the river.
They need to raise money to get there first. The group is selling holiday greens—wreaths, garland and white Scotch pine roping—ranging from $20 to $32. Order forms and a list of sale items have been attached to the media section of this article.
Order forms must be returned to the Oakmont Presbyterian Church, 415 Pennsylvania Ave., by Monday, Nov. 19.
