Carol Ann Bostjanick

Carol Ann Bostjanick passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 in her home in Royal Oak, MI. She was 71 years old.

Carol was born July 8, 1941 in Pittsburgh to Joseph and Leona Bostjanick of Oakmont. She is survived by her sister, Joanne Bostjanick and her partner Lee Marcuzzi of Pittsburgh as well as many cousins in PA and will be sorely missed by her many friends and family.

Carol was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Royal Oak, MI for many years before retirement. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11 am at the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA, 15139 where friends will be received one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association, 300 Galleria Office Centre, Suite 111, Southfield, MI, 48034.

Betty C. Stopp

On Wednesday, September 19, 2012 Betty C. Stopp, of Oakmont, passed away at the age of 92.

Betty was born on June 16, 1920 to the late W.R. Stopp Sr. and Minnie Mae Stopp and she was the sister of the late W.R. Stopp Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Peggy Stopp of Cheswick; and her nieces Marcia (David W.) Cook, Lauren (Edwin) Parsons and Leigh (Randy) Houk; also five great nieces and nephew.

Betty was a member of the Oakmont United Methodist Church.

There will be no visitation. In celebration of Betty’s life a funeral service will be held for family only with Pastor Linda Chambers officiating.
