Michael Lynches
Michael Lynches, of Verona, died on Sunday, August 26, 2012, at the age of 61.
Michael was the dear son of the late Michael and Julia (Kavchak) Lynches; longtime companion and dedicated fiancé of Charlotte "Charlie" Ray; brother of the late George E. Saxon; brother-in-law of Frances J. Saxon; uncle of Regina "Ginny" (Jim) Godish, Edward "Gunner" (Laurie) Saxon, George (Beth) Saxon, Jr. and Gregory (Jannie) Saxon; special great-uncle of E.J., Julie, Colette, Emily, Carly, David, and eight other great-nieces and nephews.
Mike was a Conco Systems, Inc. employee for 35 years and was a proud U.S. Marine during the Vietnam Era.
Services and interment will be private for the family only. Professional services were entrusted to BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., Oakmont.
Joseph M. Christmas
Joseph M. Christmas, of Oakmont, died on Friday August 31, 2012 in his residence, at the age of 49.
Joe was the son of the late Charles “ Spike” and Barbara Christmas; father of Nicole “Nikki” Cox and Ryan J. Graham; beloved brother of Cathy A. Christmas, Patty Christmas, Beth (Matt) Smith and the late Charles “Chuckie” Christmas. He is survived by many other loving family members.
Joe will be remembered by family and friends for his zest for life and living for today.
Friends and relatives will be received Monday, Labor Day, September 3, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES Inc., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont PA. Services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:30 am in the funeral home.
If desired, memorials may be made to the funeral home in Joe’s memory.
Sue G. Keller
Sue G. Keller, of Rosedale, died on Friday, August 31, 2012 at the age of 74.
Sue was the beloved wife of the late Walter H. Keller; loving mother of Linda Sue Keller-Burish, Walter S. Keller, Gretchen (Michael F.) Keller-Troiano, and Sarah (David) Keller-Bitsura; dear grandmother of Stephanie L., Shawn P. Burish, John S., David A. and Lauren E. Bitsura; great-grandmother of John, Haley, and Isabelle; sister of Milton Kimmell, (Jill) Geltz and the late Larry M. Geltz; sister-in-law of Bertha Jane (the late Stephen) Rodnok. Sue is also survived by her niece Betsy Rodnok and the late Suzie Dubaniewicz.
Sue spent her earlier years as a professional dancer at the Pittsburgh Play House and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of All Saints Church. She was a loving and strong spirited woman who instilled wonderful morals and values in her children. She enjoyed the fruitful life of gardening and will always be remembered for her love of family.
