Robert D. Faust, of North Platte, passed away August 21, 2012 in Centennial Park, at the age of 78.
Bob was born August 8, 1934 to William and Olive (Nunamaker) Faust in Oakmont, PA. He graduated from Oakmont High School in Oakmont, PA. On January 8, 1955, he was united in marriage to Carol J. Curran in Greensburg, PA.
Bob is survived by two daughters, Lydia Faust of North Platte and Susan (Jay) Whisler of Hershey; two sons, Robert (Laurie) Faust and William (Brenda) Faust both of North Platte; two sisters, Dorothy and Jeannie of PA.; grandchildren, Scott, Keith, Matthew, Nicholas, Rebecca, Cory, Melissa, Jimmy, Shawn, Jennifer, Michelle, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Daniel Wayne and Tyler; and great grandchildren, Xavier, Trevor, Haelli, Brandi, Kelsey, Lucas, Rylie, Kalib, Rowan, Brett, Haylee, Dominic, Jordan, Sidney, Case and Peyton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, son Jeff , 4 brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, August 24, 2012 at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church, with a luncheon to follow at the church. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 8:30 am to 8:00 pm Thursday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
