Rose M. Miceli
Rose M. Miceli, of Oakmont, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in Harmar Village in Cheswick, at the age of 92.
Rose was born on April 5, 1920 in Wendall, WV. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Virska) Stimac; dear wife of the late John Miceli; loving mother of Charles (Dee) Miceli of Oakmont, Joseph (Jane) Miceli of Plum, John (Yvonne) Miceli of Richland Twp., and Frances (Ron) Cecil of Oakmont; grandmother of 10; step-grandmother of 3; great-grandmother of 14; sister of Helen and the late John, Louis, Joseph, and Nicholas Stimac.
Rose was a longtime member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church where she belonged to the Christian Mothers. Rose will be remembered for her love of cooking and was employed by Riverview School District Cafeteria for many years.
Friends and relatives were received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont on Thursday, August 30, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church with Father Frank Kurimsky officating. She was buried next to her husband in the Oakmont-Verona Cemetery.

Mark John Johnson
On Tuesday, August 28, 2012, Mark John Johnson, of Oakmont/New Kensington passed away at the age of 82. Mark was born in Siatista, Greece and lived in Bradford, PA after he immigrated to America. He attended Carnegie Tech and worked as a Chemical Engineer for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation for over 40 years.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife Henrietta "Chickie" Johnson. He is survived by his sister Katherine Ditsious; and was a loving father of Katherine Winowich, John Johnson, James Johnson, Mary Ann Marshall, and Alexandra Watrous; and also survived by five grandchildren.
Friends were received Thursday at the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services INC., 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA, 15139. A funeral service was held on Friday at the Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church.
