Short-term, single lane closures will occur on the Parkway East between the Monroeville and Penn Hills on Wednesday, weather permitting.  

PennDOT crews will be conducting bridge inspection activities on the bridges that carry the Parkway East over Old William Penn Highway about one mile west of the Monroeville Interchange. Right lane closures will occur as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Outbound work will occur in the morning followed by inbound work in the afternoon.

Motorists are advised to use caution and expect changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area. Visit 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major roadways before traveling.
