Plum Police Reports: DUI, Theft & More

Here are the Plum police reports for June 12 to June 18.

 

The following incidents were reported to the Plum Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs.

DUI

Michael Lynn Kellough, 55, of Murrysville, was charged with a traffic violation and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a June 1 incident on Center Road.

John Kotvas Jr., 28, of Plum, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats and harassment after a June 11 incident on Garlow Boulevard.

Theft

A West Newton resident reported the theft of a backpack containing a computer and cash from his car while it was parked at the Unity Plaza parking lot on June 13.

A Black Hills Road resident reported the theft of a small section of a decorative wooden fence on June 14.

Criminal Mischief

Criminal mischief was reported at the parking lot of Larry Mills Park on June 12 and June 14. According to police reports, the windows of two trucks that were parked had been shattered, and it is suspected that Roman candles were used in at least one of the incidents.
