Plum Police Reports: DUI, Vandalism & More

Here are the Plum police reports for Oct. 16 to Oct. 22.

 

The following incidents have been reported to the Plum Police Department. Information has been obtained from police reports and call logs.

DUI

Joseph Girard Dincau, 41, of New Kensington was charged with accidents involving personal injury, driving with a suspended license, required financial responsibility, following too closely, careless driving, reckless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a three-vehicle accident on Coxcomb Hill Road on Sept. 3.

Attempted Theft

About $100 worth of damage was reported to the control panel and coin safe at Car Wash Country on Route 286. On Oct. 15, police report that surveillance footage showed two white males in a light sedan broke open the control panel lock and tried to open the coin safe lock in an attempt to steal money.

Theft

A Shangri La Circle resident reported a wallet stolen from a vehicle while it was parked at the Holiday Park VFD's Park and Ride lot. Credit cards then were used at three locations.

Vandalism

Graffiti was spray painted at the Vinor Inc. building on Route 286 on Oct. 14. Slang words, crude pictures and "412" were painted onto the structure.

Fraud

A Holiday Park Drive resident reported on Oct. 15 that her credit card had been used to make unauthorized online purchases.

A Kathy Lynn Drive resident reported on Oct. 13 that unauthorized purchases had been made on her credit card.

Bad Check

A bad check for $342.39 was used at Stoney Creek Golf Center on Kerr Road. The incident was reported on Sept. 18, but the person who used the check has not been charged.
