Plum Police Search for Two Men Who Robbed Convenience Store
The Plum Convenience Store on Saltsburg Road was robbed on Sunday.
Plum police are searching for two men who robbed the Plum Convenience Store on Saltsburg Road on Sunday night.
Police Chief Frank Monaco said two black men entered the store at around 9:15 p.m. and demnded money from the store employee, who then handed them about $160. One of the robbers had a gun and fired once at the ceiling of the convenience store.
Monaco said the two robbers were wearing dark clothing—one was wearing a dark blue hoodie and the other a black hoodie—and covering their faces with towels. They are described as being 6'0 tall, 250 pounds; and 6'0 tall, 170 pounds.
After getting the money, the left the scene toward Crestview Drive. Police don't have anymore descriptives of a vehicle or the suspects.
This is the second convenience store robbery to occur in the area within a week. Police also are searching for a suspect who robbed the Cash & Carry on Thanksgiving morning. The suspect is described as a male in his late teens, 5'7 to 5'9 tall. He took $160 from the store.
He also attempted to rob the Zozo's Sunoco in Penn Hills and the Kwik Fill in Oakmont that same morning. He didn't take anything from those stores.

I hope they had security cameras but I doubt it, this is right in Plum/Penn Hills line and both are very close to me, one of which I walk to when I catch the bus, too close for comfort I say.
