Plum Tennis Champion to be Honored at Frick Park Clay Courts Monday

This event takes place tonight, July 9.

 

The 2011 French Open Boys' Singles Champion is being honored tonight at 7 p.m. at the Frick Park Clay Courts in Regent Square.

Bjorn Fratangelo of Plum will receive an award from Citiparks in recognition of his victory in Paris last year.

Bjorn—the first American boy since John McEnroe in 1977 to win the Boys' Singles junior title at the French Open—will then play an exhibition and open clinic in celebration of the upcoming Citiparks Paul G. Sullivan Clay Tennis Championships.
