Pyrotecnico’s inaugural pyrotechnics and fireworks festival, PryoFest, will light up the skies on Saturday, May 26, at Hartwood Acres in Hampton Township.

Headquartered in New Castle, Pyrotecnico is a family-owned fireworks and special effects company that has been designing award-winning shows for more than 120 years.

In partnership with the Allegheny County Parks Department, CBS Radio and Lamar Advertising, PyroFest promises to be a fun-filled, daylong community event for all ages.

“Fireworks are the international symbol of celebration and what better way to
commemorate the Memorial Day weekend than a day of unique and innovative
pyrotechnics and fireworks entertainment,” said Stephen Vitale, president and CEO of Pyrotecnico.

America’s largest fireworks festival, PyroFest, will feature a number of pyrotechnic displays including: a U.S. Military Salute and National Anthem display, daytime and colored smoke fireworks, a 300-foot pryo sun, a pyro UFO launch, and “Rock Loves,” based off the award-winning fireworks show of the same name.

Techniques and products from around the world will influence the design of these never-before-seen pyrotechnic displays. According to show producers, the audience will witness memorable and spectacular presentations of both daytime and nighttime fireworks, creating a sensory and visual experience that is certain to thrill young and old.

In addition to the pyro-packed line-up, PyroFest will also include live music from local fan favorites like B.E. Taylor and The Gathering Field, a variety of food and merchandise vendors, and a kid’s zone.

Admission to PyroFest will be $10 for children/students (ages 7 to 25), $18 for general admission, $40 for VIP tickets and children 6 and under are FREE. VIP tickets will give attendees front row seating for the fireworks displays, food and drinks. Parking passes will also be available in advance for $5 or $7 day of event. Tickets can be purchase through the PyroFest website at www.pyrofest.com or through ShowClix at www.showclix.com.

Gates will open at 3 p.m. with the first fireworks display set to launch at 5 p.m.
Attendees are permitted to bring their own chairs and/or blankets.
