The region has been drier than usual and it has been oppressively hot some days. Many of our lawns/plants have dried out, and people are just plain hot.

I noticed a lot of my Facebook friends are happy that we got some rain in the Plum-Oakmont area on Tuesday afternoon.

While I love the sun and my Miami roots have made me heat-tolerant, it was refreshing to work while watching the rain pour down outside.
