This week's local restaurant spotlight is Hoffstot's Cafe Monaco, located on Allegheny Avenue in Oakmont.
This local favorite opened about 40 years ago, and is currently owned by Dan and Tom Monaco.
The bar and restaurant offer a full menu, and outdoor patio seating during the summer.

My husband Jerry and I have been dining at Hoffstot's Cafe Monaco since moving to Oakmont 10 years ago. We especially enjoy week day's menu "10 for $10 when not dining at home; nice variety and really good food. The staff and owner, Tom Monaco are always eager to please their customers and the ambiance in the bar area and dining area is perfect! Whenever we have guests from out-of-town we end up at our favorite dining place...Hoffstot's. We know that the staff are happy to work with such a great boss in Tom and when appropriate have expressed their feelings to us along the way. Jerry and Alicia
