The Riverview Raiders were burnin' the house down with their team spirit on Thursday!

The annual Raider bonfire was held at Riverside Park this year, and while the pep rally was an effort to celebrate all fall sports teams, everyone in attendance cheered on the football team—one night before they take on their rivals, the Springdale Dynamos.

The bonfire was organized by the high school sports management class and teacher Patsy Kvortek. Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Chris Carter cheered on the Raiders and offered a pep talk to the football team, telling them to "play with your heart" in a huddle.

The community enjoyed chili, popcorn, music, entertainment and complimentary desserts.

The football game will be today, Oct. 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Springdale High School.

I saw tons of you at the bonfire taking photos and videos, so share them with us! All you have to do is click the 'Upload Photos and Videos' button!
