Snow Expected on New Year's Eve

It looks like Plum, Oakmont and Verona will welcome 2013 with more snow.

Are you heading to a party or to First Night in downtown? Check out the New Year's forecast for the area.

  • Monday—A chance of snow, mainly after 4 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 33. Southwest wind 14 to 16 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Monday Night (New Year's Eve)—Snow likely, mainly between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 26. Southwest wind 8 to 13 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Tuesday (New Year's Day)—A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 30. West wind around 8 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
  • Tuesday Night—A chance of snow showers, mainly before 10 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. West wind around 7 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
