Thanksgiving Weekend Forecast for Plum, Oakmont & Verona

Here's the forecast for your (hopefully) long holiday weekend.

 

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

The Plum-Oakmont area is expected to have a warm, sunny day this Thanksgiving. If you're going shopping or playing in a Turkey Bowl this weekend, however, bundle up and pack an umbrella.

Here's the weekend forecase from the National Weather Service:

  • Thanksgiving Day—Sunny, with a high near 59. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 miles per house in the afternoon.
  • Thursday Night—Partly cloudy, with a low around 41. South wind 6 to 9 miles per hour.
  • Friday—A chance of showers, mainly after 7 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. South wind 11 to 15 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
  • Friday Night—A chance of rain showers before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
  • Saturday—A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Saturday Night—Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25.
  • Sunday—Partly sunny, with a high near 39.
  • Sunday Night—Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.
