Verona, Penn Hills VFDs Battle Blaze on Fifth Street
No one was hurt during the structure fire early Tuesday morning.
Verona volunteer firefighters assisted Penn Hills with a structure fire early Tuesday morning.
The structure fire occurred at 851 Fifth Street in Penn Hills, near the Verona border. Penn Hills Volunteer Fire Department Station 224 and Rosedale VFD also were on scene.
According to KDKA, the fire began shortly after 1 a.m. and the house was vacant. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
According to the Verona VFD Facebook page, no one was hurt.
