Jonathan Gribbin, a Woodland Hills High School alum, will be shooting a short film in Pittsburgh this spring—now, he and his team need your help to make it happen.
Five years ago, Jonathan Gribbin, Robert Louis Love III and Zachary Lyons were studying at The Los Angeles Film School and working on projects late into the night. These days, they're back in that same routine as they work on their latest short film, a psychological thriller entitled "Exposures." The movie tells the story of Harper, a former award-winning photojournalist, who has been reduced to blackmailing his neighbors. The lines between fantasy and reality begin to blur when Harper goes too far with his extortion, causing the ghosts of past subjects to come back to haunt him. The crew has been working on the film's script since October, and now they're ready to get into the production stages. Gribbin, 23, a Churchill resident and …

Dancers from Shovlin Academy of Irish Dance competed March 29 in the 2013 World Irish Dance Championship.
Dancers from Shovlin Academy of Irish Dance took their talents from a studio in Dormont Municipal Center to the world stage last weekend. The troupe performed at the 2013 World Irish Dance Championship in Boston, and placed ninth out of 13 groups. Shovlin's sister, instructor Liz Shovlin Grinko, said considering the level of competition the troupe was up against, ninth place is not bad at all. "They were very happy with that," she said. "We were competing with dancers from higher brackets who were there for solos as well, so you had …

Riverview senior Greg Gent—known as Glitch—will be performing in his first show since being signed by a record label.
What started off as a bet for Greg Gent has turned into what could be his big break in the music business.
