This Friday, Dec. 2, I will be part of a small craft show. Four crafters will be gathering at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Oakmont. From 7 to 9 p.m., and we will be selling our wares for those who want to do some Christmas shopping with us.
I will be selling my hand knitted purses, socks, fingerless mitts and hats. I have been knitting for 24 years and love being able to share my gift at this time of year!
Katie Harley will be selling her vintage and upcycled crafts. She makes frames, journals, ornaments and jewelry.
Dr. Rose McTier will be selling her gourd crafts. She uses natural gourds to make jewelry, ornaments and barrettes.
Dawn Broadway will be selling gourmet dog treats. She has developed a special recipe sure to be a wonderful gift for all your canine friends and family!
We also will have local honey, plants and seeds.
We are hoping to turn this into an annual event and are open to others joining us in the future.
So please come shop with us this Friday night. St. Thomas is located at the corner of Fourth Street and Delaware Avenue in Oakmont. We will have coffee and snacks as well as free childcare so you can shop at your leisure and in peace.
