I was just wondering the same thing. Why are we not getting local stories?

I think they should change the name of this completely. It was supposed to be LOCAL stories aboutRead MoreOa kmont, Verona and Plum to replace the Advance Leader. It started out that way, then they replaced our local bloggers and now it has very little local news. Very disappointing.

I actually saw a lot of Verona participation in the floats and along the way. Next year when theRead Morepar ade ends in Verona, I am sure there will be much more activity following the parade. What is needed is more "worker bees" to keep things going and more residents to come and enjoy the activities planned. A suggestion is to contact Verona Chamber of Commerce (after all these are the merchants of the town). The chamber meets the third Tuesday of every month in the Municipal building on East Railroad Avenue at 7 pm.

I enjoyed the parade and there were alot of verona participants in it. I just agree that thereRead Moreshoul d have been more activities for Verona. More vendors would be great and maybe have the horse and buggy rides for here as well, that is what my children like best, with the exception of seeing santa of course.
