DESCRIPTION:In  the fall of 2010 The Steel City Rowing Club (SCRC) offici
 ally moved  into its new "green" facility. In 2011 the park area was gra
 ded and  seeded in native grasses. It now ready for the  next phase of d
 evelopment which includes planting native plants\, trees  and shrubs thi
 s spring.\nIn keeping with the SCRC "green" mission\, Steel City Rowing 
 Club will host The Green Initiative Seminar Series Wednesdays May 2\, Ma
 y 9 and May 16\, and Thursday May 24.\nEach seminar is $25 individually 
 ($20 for SCRC members). Register for all four seminars for $65 ($50 for 
 SCRC members).\nMay 2nd - Speaker Azizan Abdul-Aziz\, "Living Green"\nSe
 nior Research Architect&nbsp\;for the Center for Building Performance an
 d Diagnostics\, Carnegie Mellon University\nMay 9th - Speaker Jim Fitzro
 y\, "Bees &amp\; Native Pollenators"\nJim Fitzroy has been active in the
  Bee Keeping Community since 1980s.He is a past&nbsp\; president of Beav
 er Valley Area Bee Keepers Association and is now listed as a bee keeper
  mentor for Beaver Valley Area Bee Keepers Association. A resident of Pe
 nn Hills\, Fitzroy is a familiar face at the Verona Farmers Market where
