Since its founding in 2001\, the Greater Pittsburgh Police Emerald So ciety Pipes &\; Drums has had the honor of performing at every police funeral in our area\, as well as many funerals and memorial services ar ound the country.\nA new film being released this fall\, shows the sacri fices that Law Enforcement Officers around the nation make every day. He roes Behind the Badge is a documentary\, featuring the brave men and wom en of law enforcement who put their lives on the line\, some who survive d and others who made the ultimate sacrifice. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Wayne Derrick\, and narrated by Law &\; Order&rsquo\;s Vinc ent D&rsquo\;Onofrio\, this film tells 7 stories of sacrifice and herois m that occurred last year\, including interviews of family members and s urviving officers. \; \;\nThe Greater Pittsburgh Police Pipes &a mp\; Drums\, along with the Bethel Park Police Department\, is proud to host an exclusive screening of this powerful film\, which will be releas ed on DVD/Blu-Ray and not shown in theaters. The screening will take pla ce Saturday\, November 17\, 2012 at 7:00pm at the new Bethel Park High S chool Auditorium. This special evening will feature Executive Producer L t.
