 y Lecture Series about topics of local interest. There will be one lectu
 re a month\, on a Wednesday evening in June\, July\, and August.\nOn Wed
 nesday June 13th at 6:30\, join local historian Ken Kobus for a look bac
 k at the trains that travelled the Allegheny Valley. Mr. Kobus will talk
  about the Allegheny Valley Railroad and its connection to the iron\, st
 eel\, salt and oil industries in the Pittsburgh area. Mr. Kobus will sho
 w photos of train infrastructure in Verona and other local spots and wil
 l talk about both industrial and passenger train service. Mr. Kobus has 
 written and lectured extensively on this topic. This is sure to be an en
 tertaining and informative presentation!
