Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Raises $4,500 for Make-A-Wish

George Hackett, president of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services, is pleased to announce that nearly $4,500 was raised for Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia at the recent Bag Lady Bash. Thanks to the effort and hard work of affiliated sales associates, staff and volunteers, as well as the support of the local community, the event hosted by the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Services Squirrel Hill and Shadyside offices was a fundraising success.

Approximately 100 people attended the evening event at the Priory Hotel in Pittsburgh, which was held for the first time this year. Guests were invited to enter raffles for a chance to win one of dozens of gently used designer and brand-name handbags. In attendance was local Make-A-Wish recipient, Francesca Dabecco, who won the big draw of the evening, a Versace tote bag. Organizers look forward to hosting the 2nd Annual Bag Lady Bash in the spring of 2015.

Since 1980, Make-A-Wish has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The organization’s mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.
