Storm Damage Reported in Plum

Allegheny County is reporting some storm damage in Plum Borough.

According to the county Twitter page, trees and wires are down on the 4000 block of Impala Drive; a house on the 600 block of Carnival Drive sustained damage after a tree fell on it; and lighting hit a house on the 100 block of Kooser Drive, causing a hole in the roof.

Renton Fire Department is directing traffic at Blue Ridge and Surfside drives.

Washington Boulevard in Pittsburgh is passable to vehicle traffic, but lights are on flash and the traffic division has been notified and is handling situation. In 2011, four residents from Plum and Oakmont died on the road after a flash flood incident.
