Community Corner

Volunteers Needed

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Edgewood Towne Centre is under new management and we need volunteers to help with our mission.

Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore sells donated building and home
improvement materials, including furniture and appliances, which are sold to the public at deeply discounted prices. All proceeds help place families in affordable shelter in the Greater Pittsburgh area. The ReStore provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat’s community improvement work. We call it recycling with purpose...and your donations can be tax deductible.

Consider donating your surplus building materials, product overstocks, discontinued merchandise, and gently used household items.  But more importantly, please consider donating your time.

Call the ReStore at 412-271-4663.
