► Verona Council President, Dom Conte, has made the following EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT:
"Due to the extreme cold weather conditions, regional street-salt supplys are running short. Therefore, for the remainder of the week, and possibly longer, the Street Department will only salt Verona streets at intersections and on hills. Streets on level ground will not be salted. However, ALL STREETS will continue to be plowed, as usual. If the situation worsens, sand will be applied to the streets Please use extreme caution, while driving, during this situation."
