Sharon L. Kitchen, of Penn Hills, died Wednesday morning, September 11, 2013, at the age of 53, in Compassionate Care Hospice of Lawrenceville,.
Sharon was born November 2, 1959 in Wilkinsburg to Katherine Stripay Perka of Cheswick and the late John Stripay. Surviving are her husband, William F. Kitchen of 21 years; mother of the late Wayne Stripay; sister of Christopher (Diane) Stripay of Plum, Janet Stewart of Penn Hills, and the late John C. Stripay.
Sharon was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and beloved pets Fluff, Sadie, Bud, and Baby. She also served as the benefits coordinator for Ursuline Senior Services.

Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, PA, 15139 Thursday September 12, 2013 from 2-8. A blessing service will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Father Kenneth Kezmarsky of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Springdale. Interment will follow at Mt Hope Cemetery in Penn Hills.
