Obituary - Earl Roselle “Bud” Fentzel, Jr.,

Earl Roselle “Bud” Fentzel, Jr., 87 of Oakmont passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the age of 87.. 

Earl was the beloved husband for 64 years of Helen (Palochick) Fentzel; loving father of Cindy (Raymond) Skiles and Earl R. “ER” (Marisa) Fentzel, III; grandfather of Casey Skiles, Jill Ortmann, and Kayla Fentzel; great-grandfather of Laura Skiles and Eva Lumley; brother of the late Mildred Ann Fentzel.  He was preceded in death by his faithful four legged companion “Buddy” who was well known by Oakmonters. 

Earl was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy aboard the USS Shangri-La.  Bud was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church and worked with his wife Helen in the trophy business making many trophies and awards for Riverview High School for many years.  He was also a trainer for Riverview High School football.

Friends and relatives will be received on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Avenue. Oakmont.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 10 a.m. in St Ireneaus Catholic Church, Oakmont.
