Obituary - John L. “Jack” Cummings

John L. “Jack” Cummings, of Penn Hills, passed away in his residence on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at the age of 88. 

Jack was the beloved husband for 59 years of Mary Louise Cummings; dear father of Mary Pat (Mike) Gates, Kathy (Mike) Crossey, John Cummings, and Nancy (Bob Kennedy) Cummings; grandfather of Michael, Kelly, Bill, Danielle, Zack, Jack, Amanda, Josh, and Shanna; brother of Della Cummings, Rita Brennen, Charles Cummings, and the late Elizabeth Sipe and Margaret Edgar. 

Jack was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Verona.  His greatest joy in life was his children and grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Verona. 

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 825 Second Street, Verona, PA, 15147.
